Extensive new features for DICOM Viewer and Segmenter
We are working on Release 7 for the Dornheim DICOM Viewer and the Dornheim Segmenter – our most extensive update to date. This version adds support for 4D image data (time-resolved image series), the MHA and NIFTI data formats, as well as additional languages. For the first time, this release also enables the Dornheim DICOM Viewer and Segmenter to support the non-medical data formats DICOS and DICONDE, thereby opening up our analysis and modeling tools to further industries and fields of application.
In the area of image analysis and interaction we are considerably expanding the possibilities: a third free plane is now available, segmentations can be edited directly in free planes, and 3D models can be displayed as 2D slices. This is complemented by a range of resampling and segmentation tools that will be available directly within the Dornheim DICOM Viewer.
We have also refined the workflow: the user interface of the DICOM browser has been revised, in particular the user experience with laptop/touchpad. Interactive snapshots can now be renamed, and videos will be exportable as MP4.
Release 7 is expected in a few weeks; we will keep you informed. If you have any questions, you can reach us at any time at info@dornheim.tech.
